Every day, pets like dogs and cats go missing. Most missing pet alerts are scattered across social media, especially Facebook, causing delays and reducing the effectiveness of searches. The lack of centralized information makes it difficult to conduct a focused and effective search, wasting valuable time.

Personas
In order to design a platform that serves as the fastest way to post or find reports of lost and found pets, I first needed to understand the frustrations both pet owners and finders face today. I conducted interviews with several pet owners who had previously dealt with losing a pet, which helped me create two distinct personas.

For Gilad, his dog Bobby is the most important thing in the world. He makes sure Bobby has the best care, takes him for walks three or more times a day, and can’t imagine anything happening to him or being apart from him.
